About us

Inaugurated in 1962, CFS Prithipura provides a home environment from childhood to adulthood for about 60 mentally and physically differently abled residents. We offer a safe place for the well-being and rehabilitation of the residents who need special care and attention due to mental, physical, social or economic reasons.

Our Impact

Gayan's journey with us began when he was just seven years old. He was brought to Prithipura seeking support for his struggles with behavioral challenges and obesity. With consistent, loving care and medical attention from our team, Gayan has blossomed into a kind and happy young man. Today, 14 years later, he is a cherished member of our community who loves spending time with his friends.

Appeal for Dry Rations

June 2026 Update: Due to the hardships faced by many at present, our usual donations of dry rations have been drastically reduced. The following items are urgently required in order to sustain the health and wellbeing of our residents: Dhall (Parippu), Soya Meat, Sugar, Rice.
